The FiberX FX-I380-015 - HDMI 8K fibre optic cable in 15 m length. Larger bandwidths, faster speeds and loss-free signal quality over ever greater distances are the trend and desire of many users today. With such long distances, traditional copper cabling reaches its limits and can no longer fulfil this task with the necessary reliability. The FiberX FX-I380 series was designed to solve this problem. By combining various optical transmission standards with the latest cutting-edge technology, FiberX cables ensure that existing infrastructures in the AV sector will continue to meet the high demands of users in the future. FiberX FX-I380-015 - HDMI 8K fibre optic cables enable quick and easy installation, as tighter bending radii are possible thanks to the high fibre quality.
The 8K HDMI 2.1 AOC hybrid cable FX-I380 - in various lengths - complies with the HDMI Ultra High Speed with Ethernet specification and reliably transmits signals at up to 48 Gbps. The cable has HDMI-A plugs with gold-plated precision plug contacts on both sides, making the plugs themselves resistant to corrosion and thus guaranteeing permanently functioning data transmission.
Thanks to the structure of glass fibres for AV transmission and copper cables for transmitting power and data, it offers all-round protection against electromagnetic interference and low attenuation for perfect transmission quality. The cable is also halogen-free, which means that less smoke is produced in the event of a fire than with products containing halogens. Furthermore, the cable does not require an external power supply; it is powered directly via HDMI.
The hybrid structure of glass fibres and copper cables enables significantly longer cable lengths than conventional HDMI copper cables. Thanks to this structure, the FX-1380 series cables are available in lengths of up to 100 metres and can also be used in complex environments. The cables enable resolutions up to 8K / UltraHD-2 with up to 60Hz including digital audio signal and with support for HDCP up to version 2.3. The transmission takes place without delay (zero frame delay) and without compression, and also supports ARC or eARC as well as transparent EDID.
The very small cable diameter of the FX-1380 enables an extremely tight bending radius of up to 45 mm (static) or 90 mm (dynamic) and is therefore ideal for routing or installation in tight spaces, such as the back of a rack.
The FX-1380 cables work according to the "Plug&Play" principle and can be used like a conventional HDMI cable. They are unidirectional (directional). The ends are clearly labelled so that the cable is not connected the wrong way round. The manufacturer does not guarantee adaptation to other signal types.
