The 10 metre long 4K HDMI 2.0 AOC hybrid cable FX-I355-010 has an outer diameter of 4.5 mm. It complies with the HDMI Premium High Speed with Ethernet specification and reliably transmits signals at up to 18Gbps. The cable has HDMI-A plugs on both sides with gold-plated precision plug contacts, so the plugs themselves are insensitive to corrosion and thus guarantee a permanently functioning data transmission. In addition, the FX-I355-010 features the patented ULS? Locking system. This system provides mechanically secure connections by locking the HDMI plug in the connector socket. The innovative 360° safety lock is currently the safest system on the market and ensures permanently uninterrupted connections. It can be used universally with any HDMI socket and can be switched between the "locked" and "unlocked" positions with just a flick of the wrist.
Greater bandwidths, faster speeds and loss-free signal quality over ever greater distances are the trend and desire of many users today. With such long ranges, traditional copper cabling reaches its limits and can no longer fulfil this task with the required reliability. FiberX designed the FX cable to solve this problem. By combining various optical transmission standards with the latest cutting-edge technology, FX cables ensure that existing infrastructures in the AV sector will continue to meet the high demands of users in the future. The FX cables enable quick and easy installation, because tighter bending radii are possible thanks to the high fibre quality.
Due to the hybrid construction of glass fibres for AV transmission and copper wires for the transmission of power and data, it offers complete protection against electromagnetic interference as well as low attenuation for perfect transmission quality. In addition, the cable is halogen-free, which means that in case of fire it produces less smoke than halogen-containing cables. Furthermore, it does not require an external power supply; it is therefore powered directly via HDMI.
The hybrid construction of glass fibres and copper wires enables significantly longer cable lengths than conventional HDMI copper cables. Due to the construction, lengths of up to 100 metres are available for the cables of the FX-1355 series and can also be used in complex environments. The cables enable resolutions up to 4K / UltraHD with up to 60Hz incl. digital audio signal and with support of HDCP up to version 2.2. The transmission takes place without delay (Zero Frame Delay) as well as without compression and also supports ARC or eARC (if supported by the device) as well as transparent EDID.
The FX-1355-010's very small cable diameter of 4.5mm allows for an extremely tight static bend radius of up to 45mm or a dynamic bend radius of 90mm, especially for routing or installation in tight environments such as the back of a rack.
The FX-1355 cable works on a "plug & play" principle and can be used like a conventional HDMI cable. It is unidirectional (directional). To ensure that it is not connected the wrong way round, the ends are clearly marked. The manufacturer does not guarantee adaptation to other types of signals.
