Outstanding outdoor digital signage experience
The DahuaLDH55-EAO400L is a High Brightness Outdoor Display with an elegant and industrial-grade metal design in landscape format. Images and videos are displayed in 4K Ultra-HD with 3840x2160 pixels and the ultra-high brightness of 2500 cd/m² . This makes the outdoor series 10 times brighter than Dahua's standard series. The Dahua LDH55-EAO400L outdoor display has an IP55 protection rating for reliable operation and is therefore waterproof against the harmful effects of sun, rain, snow, dust and wind. It also has a service life of up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can therefore be in use around the clock. It can be integrated into your network, it supports audio and video, publishes multimedia information and broadcasts adverts. The Dahua LDH55-EAO400L High Brightness Outdoor Display is ideal for outdoor areas in communities, shopping centres, supermarkets, hotels, businesses and various industries such as advertising, hospitality, entertainment, tourism, culture, sports, education, finance and healthcare.
IP55 certification and anti-reflective technology
The Dahua Outdoor Display is designed for temperatures between -20 °C and 45 °C and has IP55 certification, which ensures reliable operation. It is waterproof and resistant to the harmful effects of sun, rain, snow, dust and wind.
The IP55 certification certifies that a display with IP55 certification is suitable for outdoor use, as it is protected against dust deposits and rainwater. However, it should be noted that the display is not completely waterproof and should therefore not be submerged or exposed to strong jets of water. The specially treated front screen scatters direct sunlight so that it remains easy to read even in bright weather conditions.
The outdoor display is equipped with a fan cooling system that actively cools it to prevent overheating. The fans draw in cool outside air and discharge warm air from the housing. This prevents overheating in direct sunlight or high ambient temperatures.
Mainstream quad-core CPU & Android 8 operating system
The Dahua LDH55-EAO400L outdoor display is equipped with a mainstream quad-core CPU which, in combination with the Android 11 operating system and 32GB of storage space, enables smooth and fast operation. Media can be easily imported into the digital signage system via a USB stick. The USB stick can be imported to create and share projects. You can insert a variety of media into your projects, e.g. images, videos, audio and files in Word, Excel, PPT, TXT or PDF formats. It also supports the insertion of web pages, streaming media, subtitles, notifications and much more. Subtitles can be set so that they run smoothly across the screen and display the desired content. You can also integrate various elements such as weather, time and countdown timers into your projects.
Playback modes and screen layout
The Dahua LDH55-EAO400L outdoor display also offers a range of options for displaying your content. Two playback modes provide variety in the presentation of your projects. You can choose between a continuous playback mode and a scheduled playback mode, depending on what works best for your application. The system simplifies broadcasting with general plans and switch-on plans. General playout schedules control how media is played on end devices. Editing schedules can be used without direct approval. The playback times of your content are very flexible. General schedules can be played weekly, or you can create your own schedule. Cut-in schedules can also be customised by time period, duration and number of play times.
With the MPS platform, Dahua provides users with a content management solution that enables centralised configuration of digital signage. The design of the messages and schedules can be updated anytime and anywhere. Projects can be easily created on the Media Publishing System (MPS) platform when the device is connected to the network. It can then be sent directly to the end device for playback. The associated Dahua MPS Mobile App supports a range of functions, including programme creation, information display, approval by authorities, terminal timing (switching on and off) and much more. It is compatible with the most popular mobile phones on the market, which greatly improves ease of use and control options.
In addition, thanks to the intelligent split screen, you can freely customise the page layout. This is ideal for situations where you need to display multiple content at the same time and makes the Stele suitable for a variety of scenes.
Remote management & connectivity
You can conveniently switch the device on and off, restart, switch the display on and off, rotate the screen and adjust the brightness and volume from the platform. The Dahua LDH55-EAO400L display has various connections, including an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB 2.0 type A port and a USB 3.0 type A port. Use the USB Plug and Play function by simply plugging in your USB stick to play and operate your content optimally. In addition, a mini SD card with up to 128 GB memory can be added to the TF card slot on the back by simply opening the rear cover. There is also an RJ45 connection that allows the display to be connected to the LAN switch or router and thus use the familiar PC environment. This enables the stele to be set up quickly. Optionally, you can add a WiFi module for wireless transmission. Two integrated 5-watt loudspeakers enable mobile use, for example when regularly rearranging the shop floor or setting up the stele at different locations. Power is supplied via the mains cable provided.
A wall bracket made of the material "SECC" is already included in the scope of delivery. SECC is a sheet steel that has been electrolytically galvanised and is therefore resistant to rust and corrosion.
Note: To ensure the normal operation of outdoor displays, you should always clarify the intended use and location in advance. The filter for this outdoor display must be cleaned every 3 months and replaced once a year.
