The CHIEF XTM1U wall mount is the direct successor to the CHIEF XTMU mount and has been further developed with the help of customer opinions and the observations of experienced installers. The result is a mount that is not only easy to install, but also has convincing features that allow any large screen to hang sensibly and securely on the wall.
Every customer may be familiar with the problem of not being able to see through all the individual parts as soon as you open the packaging. Which part belongs in which place and which screw is needed. CHIEF has taken on this criticism and the bracket is delivered in such a way that you are guided through the assembly step by step.
After mounting the bracket, you only need to attach the adapter bars to the display. Everything you need for this is, of course, included in the delivery . After this, you can simply hang the display on the wall bracket. You can hear whether the display is hanging securely by a clearly audible "click". Thanks to innovative spacers, which are included in the delivery, you can adjust the desired wall distance. You do not have to be completely precise when mounting the display, which is an enormous advantage, especially for non-professionals. As soon as the display is hooked into the bracket, it can be moved up to 20 cm to the left and up to 20 cm to the right at any time. Even the height of the display can be adjusted by up to 2.54 cm at any time.
Disturbing cables can be hidden, but are still easily accessible at any time. Especially during maintenance, many fitters know the problem that displays - which have been mounted on flat brackets - are difficult to reach. But CHIEF has also thought through this issue and offers a so-called maintenance mode: the display automatically stops in the maintenance position and the fitter has both hands free at all times.
The CHIEF XTM1U can accommodate displays from 55 inches - 100 inches and a maximum of 113 kg maximum weight. The VESA standard is 100x100 - 1070x600 mm. The mount is designed for landscape installation only. We have tested the mount in conjunction with 98 inch displays from Samsung, Philips and LG.
