The XT1144 is BrightSign's flagship product, bringing you native 4K resolution with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support for the best possible picture and video displays in the digital signage environment. Play live TV content from pay-TV providers and premium streaming services, create flexible and synchronous video wall screens with true 4K resolution and offer guests and viewers a interactive media player that not only allows touch control, but also swipe and gesture control .
The XT1144 has all the capabilities of the XT244, but also offers a USB-A and USB-C port for touch displays etc., an HDMI 2.0 input with HDCP support, and a serial RS232 port. BrightSign targets both beginners and experts with its media players and offers the right solution for every user. With every BrightSign MediaPlayer, the BrightSign Author is the hub where all your information comes together. The Author is thus the central application for all your BrightSign needs, from creating and distributing your presentations to managing your entire network. As well as offering an intuitive user interface and a wealth of digital signage features, BrightAuthor is free to all BrightSign customers and is available in a range of languages (including German).
The BrightSign XT1144 allows you to freely divide your image, because only you decide how your content should be presented and displayed. Show a high-quality 4K full screen with predefined videos, collages, or individual images and play them back in an endless loop. Or you can create a multi-zone layout, as known from system gastronomy, among other things: show live streaming on the display, while a news ticker runs through the image in the lower area and current promotional products are shown on the right side . Another scenario, which has already been implemented by us in the retail sector , for example, would be an interactive playlist, where your customers have to assemble your logo from various puzzle pieces and as soon as the logo is complete and correctly assembled, a personalised voucher code is automatically displayed . All this is possible with the BrightSign XT1144. Of course, for such individual requirements you have to look for a professional content creator, but with the BrightSign MediaPlayer you get the hardware at hand that can handle HTLM 5 (Enterprise Level) and grow with your requirements at any time.
But BrightSign players can not only play content on individual displays or projectors, but can be used for video wall screens. Let's assume you want to merge several displays into one image and your displays are all connected to each other via daisy-chain (signal loop-through) , then you only need one player, which is connected via HDMI to the first display in the wall. Then simply create the content you want in BrightSign Author and transfer this playlist wirelessly, via LAN or via micro-SD card to your XT1144 and you have a perfect large image that will impress customers and be perfectly visible even from a distance.
However, there is another variant that is frequently requested by our customers and here, too, the XT1144 is the right player for you. Let's just assume you have a trade fair stand on which you have set up a video wall. Now you want your company logo to be displayed in full on the wall during product presentations with viewers . During the presentation-free time, however, you want each individual display within the wall to show one of your products. No problem. All you would need in this case is an XT1144 MediaPlayer for each display. Here, too, the settings are made via the author and you can specify in advance the time at which the full-surface display is to take place and when each display is to be played individually. The content to be displayed can thus be planned in advance and saved on the players. You don't have to worry about anything on site, the XT1144 takes care of everything else. Of course, you also have the option of connecting an actuator via the USB port, which then changes the mode at the touch of a button. With BrightSign and the XT1144 , the sky's the limit and you shouldn't settle for anything less.
Another important topic is the monitoring of all connected MediaPlayers. Especially if you use several BrightSign players , it is important to be able to check the current status or to be informed in case of failures. With BrightSign, this service is of course possible at any time. You can check each player in a preview and thus see live which content is currently being played and do not have to run to the desired display first. Furthermore, you can equip all BrightSign MediaPlayers with the latest firmware from a central location and can schedule the update in advance and then have it run automatically during a rest period at night, .
The power supply for the XT1144 can either be provided via the supplied power supply unit or you can use the existing POE+ connection. With Power over Ethernet, you don't need a power socket near the media player, because the power is supplied via a classic CAT cable.
A real highlight is the BrightSign app, which is, however, only available for iOS devices. Once installed on the mobile device , you can view all BrightSign players within the local network and also make small changes to the presentation. The BrightSign app is therefore very popular with companies with a small number of BrightSign players who need to publish content quickly and easily.
Practical accessories for the MediaPlayer:
With the optionally available WS103-WW module, the XT1144 digital signage player can be upgraded via WLAN and Bluetooth. Play all content to the BrightSign player via internal WLAN and save laying CAT cables.
Optional network licence:
If you want to manage your BrightSign media player from outside the local network, you will need an additional network licence, which is available at with a term of 1, 2 or 3 years. Large companies often commission external service providers to take over the setting and management of content, and in this case each of the players to be managed must then be equipped with a network licence. However, if you manage your players within the same network, no licence is required and there are no subsequent costs.
BrightSign understands the market and its customers, trust it and convince yourself of its performance. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the BrightSign XT1144. Simply contact us by email, phone or via our live chat. If you wish, we will also be happy to take care of the installation and assembly in your company.
