The Barco XMS Management Server is a true plug-and-play server for the central management of Barco ClickShare and wePresent systems. The management suite, which previously had to be installed on a server and had to comply with numerous specifications, is already pre-installed on the XMS-110EU and ready for immediate use. Simply connect the small box to your company network, complete the simple and intuitive registration process and you are ready to assign your Barco and wePresent systems to the server. It has never been easier and more secure to manage your ClickShare systems remotely and this at any time across locations. The XMS-110EU Management Server from Barco can be used as a secure gateway for firmware downloads and for effective and secure cloud monitoring, making it a long-lasting and profitable investment.
Easily monitor the status of all your systems remotely, schedule and distribute firmware updates as desired and possible without having to be directly on site. Configure new systems at any time from a central location, or clone existing systems to apply the configuration to new systems. Remotely install background images for each individual ClickShare system and customise your presentation systems to your CI.
The Barco Management Suite is a web-based tool that the system administrator can use anywhere, even remotely. The look and feel ensures intuitive use and improves both security and stability of the application.
The XMS Cloud Gateway connects the on-premise device management suite to the XMS Cloud Management Portal and enables remote access and control from any location with the highest possible security. Access your live cloud dashboard alongside the local dashboard you use for maintenance and problem resolution to see the status and monitoring of all connected devices. System administrators, integrators and managed service providers (or anyone granted access) can enjoy unlimited flexibility and enhanced service capabilities.
The cloud function is not a must, by the way. If you only use the Barco XMS-110EU at one location and only use the current Barco ClickShare systems from CS-100 Huddle to CSE-800 there, the connection to the cloud is not necessary. However, as soon as you want to network several locations, or want to integrate legacy devices such as the CSC-1 and wePresent into the system, the cloud is mandatory. Please note that one Barco XMS-100EU Management Server is required per location.
In summary, the eXperience Management Server is a reliable enterprise platform designed for 24/7 operation. Save yourself the time-consuming and complex installation of the management suite on your own server. In combination with Barco's secure cloud connection, you will be able to manage and monitor all ClickShare and wePresent devices even thousands of kilometres away.
