The Atlona Omega AT-OME-MS42 is a multi-format presentation switcher with matrix functionality. A mix of HDMI, USB-C and Displayport inputs makes it possible to connect all common video signals. The special feature of Atlona's Omega series is the integration of USB host and USB hub ports. As part of the Omega™ series of integration products for modern AV communication and collaboration, the OME-MS42 is HDCP 2.2 compliant and offers HDBaseT extension for video up to 4K/60
USB 2.0 devices can be connected and switched locally or transmitted via the HDBaseT interface (max. 120 Mbps). This integrated USB extension solves the challenge of connecting USB devices in remote locations and is ideal for software video conferencing and touch or interactive displays.
Suitable HDBaseT receivers with USB transmission are:
- AT-OME-EX-RX
- AT-OME-SR21
The HDBaseT output is PoE-capable and transmits video, audio, RS-232, IR, USB and Ethernet over distances of up to 100 metres.
The multi-format matrix supports all video and audio formats of the HDMI 1.4/2.0 standard (via HDBaseT max. UHD@60Hz 4:2:0) and offers audio de-embedding.
4K/UHD downscaling to 1080p is possible at the HDMI output.
