Atlona AT-OME-EX-KIT HDBaseT Set with USB 2.0

The Atlona AT-OME-EX-KIT is an HDBaseT extender set for transmitting up to 4K content at 60Hz and simultaneously transmits audio, control, Ethernet and USB signals over distances from up to 100 metres via a simple CAT-6 cable.

It is part of the Omega series of integration products for modern AV communication and collaboration. The HBaseT set OME-EX-KIT is HDCP 2.2 compliant and extends IR, RS-232 and IP control signals. The integrated USB extension solves the not-so-simple challenge of transmitting USB signals to in addition to the usual signals. Therefore, this set is perfect if you want to integrate additional devices such as mouse/keyboard, touch screen displays or USB cameras and do not want to purchase additional hardware.

The AT-OME-EX kit consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is then connected to a PC or laptop via HDMI, for example. You then connect your CAT-6 cable to the transmitter and run it to the Atlona receiver, which is connected via HDMI e.g. to a display. The transmitter is powered by the receiver via PoE (Power over Ethernet), you need to connect the supplied power cable to the receiver. The OME-EX-TX transmitter includes a USB 2.0 host interface for a PC as well as two peripherals such as a hands-free kit, microphone or keyboard and mouse.

Furthermore it has two USB interfaces for devices such as a camera, soundbar or display. Transmitters and receivers are sold separately and can be used with other Omega Series integration products. These capabilities, along with host PC and USB peripheral connectivity, make the Atlona  OME-EX-KITideal for videoconferencing and UC (Unified Communications) platforms such as Zoom, Skype® for Business, Microsoft® Teams®, Cisco® Webex®, BlueJeans and GoToMeeting®. The AT-HDVS-CAM PTZ camera with USB interface is available from Atlona.
