The AVer PTC500S is a professional auto-tracking video conferencing camera for medium to large rooms. From a classroom, to a lecture hall, to a large conference room, the AVer PTC500S is just the right solution for any venue. The PTC500S video conferencing camera integrates automatic tracking of one person, but can also recognise and focus on different speakers. The professional camera has a so-called double lens. The main lens is designed to detect people and objects, while the small wide-angle lens can cover the entire room. The PTZ camera with 30x optical zoom impresses with its high field of view of 120° and the 350° swivel option. With the integrated remote autofocus function, even blackboards or whiteboards can be clearly displayed from a distance of 25 metres. The camera's resolution is 1920x1080 pixels at 60 frames per second, ensuring brilliant and pin-sharp images

The high-quality PTZ camera PTC500S resolves in 1920x1080 pixels, as already mentioned at the beginning. Of course, you can also connect this camera to a 4K display or projector, the camera works with just about all resolutions and offers the best possible image display. With the 350° pan / tilt function of +90° upwards and -30° downwards as well as the integrated zoom function (30x optical / 12x digital), from now on no participant falls out of the picture and even the smallest details can be displayed perfectly. The AVer PTC500S is more than just a simple video conferencing camera, because the integrated tracking functions make the camera really special. For example, the PTC500S automatically detects an active speaker and zooms in on them without the use of a remote control. While the respective speaker is shown at close range, a smaller view shows the entire room or the speaker's surroundings. The camera tracks the speaker independently, which is an important point, especially for speeches on a large stage. The camera does not lose the speaker even if other people simply walk through the picture. This cannot be prevented, especially during longer lectures, and it is good that this no longer has to bother you with the PTC500S.

In addition to single-person tracking, multi-presenter detection accurately tracks two or more people in the specified area. This feature allows teachers to have group discussions, tests, interactive games and much more in front of the class. Wide Area Tracking



With Wide Area Tracking, you simply track your target everywhere. Thanks to Wide Area Tracking, presenters can leave the stage and communicate with a crowd or students, while the tracking remains steady and without interruptions, even if other people or objects obscure the target.

Stage Tracking



The State Tracking function is ideal if you want to stand on stage and record your presentation. You will be permanently captured and recorded by the camera. Thanks to the 'Effective Zone' setting, you can set up to eight exclusion zones to record strategic, professional videos and only see what you have previously specified on the video.

Segment Tracking



With Segment Tracking, you improve the capture of content on multiple displays. Create up to four content zones for instant detection and tracking of targets moving between content zones. This means that important information appears on the display faster than the presenter can capture it. Segment tracking can be used on whiteboards, for example. For example, you can divide large boards into individual segments, each of which then comes into focus as the presenter moves there

The AVer PTC500S is a professional video conferencing camera not only because of its functions, but also because of its connections. The camera is not connected to your PC via USB, but via the existing LAN connection. The connection between display or projector is via HDMI. In addition, you can also connect a recorder for recording the conference to the PTZ camera via 3G-SDI at any time. Audio mixers can be connected via jack and room control via RS232.

The PTC500S is managed via a browser. Once the AVer camera has been integrated into your network, you can access the camera via an IP address and log in with your access data. If you do not know how to find out the IP address of the camera, you can download the free IP search utility for cameras on Windows PCs from the AVer website. After logging in, you will see the main interface of the PTC500S and can now start with the settings. There you can not only create presets, as you may already know from other video conferencing cameras, but you can also set and programme the various tracking functions at this point. Via the web interface, you can also install the latest firmware on the unit at any time and you don't even have to be on site to do this
