By the way, the optical zoom offers you a real advantage: with the optical zoom, even distant objects can be brought closer without any loss of quality, whereas with the digital zoom, the lens is only artificially enlarged. Therefore, the optical zoom should always be preferred and the digital zoom should only be used to a limited extent. Thus, the CAM520 Pro2 offers a real advantage over many other inexpensive systems, most of which only have a digital zoom. Another point is the integrated autofocus, which ensures that there is no blurring during movements. The CAM520 Pro2 can be panned by up to ±170° and tilted by +90°/-30°. The maximum image area that can be captured with this PTZ camera is 84.5°

Not one, but up to ten presets ensure that you can prepare for almost any situation in any environment. For example, you can programme the camera to zoom in on each speaker at the table if they are currently leading the conversation, or you can set the camera to focus on a whiteboard, for example, which is to be included in the meeting. As soon as a speaker enters the previously defined area, the CAM520 Pro2 pans, zooms and focuses on this area. In addition, this video conference camera from AVer has a next-generation face and body recognition system to automatically frame people wearing a mask or showing any facial profile from a distance of up to 7 to 10 metres and thus align the image to this person. Particularly with changing speakers, this is a function that no meeting should be without.

A frequent problem in video conferences is the sunlight and the associated brightness in the location used.
