Interesting news from Microsoft
Microsoft plans to ship all new Surface Hubs with Teams Rooms from 2023. The Surface Hub 2S will then be the first digital touch display to run Teams Rooms under Windows. According to the manufacturer, this special version of Teams is designed to "bridge the distance between employees who are connected remotely and those who are present in the office with a team meeting room solution where everyone can be seen, heard and participate from anywhere". Teams Rooms Basic is free but limited to 25 rooms and also offers a reduced feature set, while Teams Rooms Pro costs per room per month but offers more capabilities. For older Surface Hub S2s, a migration path to the new features will be offered at a later date.
